- 10 ounces penne pasta
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 8 tablespoons butter
- 1 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
- ¼ teaspoon red pepper flakes optional
Boil and cook the pasta according to the directions on the box. Once cooked, drain and set aside.
Heat a large saucepan or skillet over medium heat. Place butter in the pan and melt. Add in garlic stir for 1 minute.
Stir in cooked pasta. Add Parmesan and stir to completely coat.
